A few years later, the grunge culture and its raising at the early 90’s, started to use it in a more unkempt way, using less black in their outfits but still with that dark look. Little by little the choker necklace was becoming more commercial, the grunge culture was becoming more popular and started to influence the pop culture.
For the late 90’s the choker necklace was massive, younger people using it in all the colors imaginable. It was even launched a choker necklace with rainbow colours! The trend became so popular that people got tired of it…
